Hope of Glory An Easter Poem
Two years ago, during my Lenten devotion, I wrote the poem “Hope of Glory”. its verses were echoes of my meditation and faith. Penning this poem on paper and audio form, is a way I can reflect back to Him what He has given to me.
What is Lent?
Lent is a special time for Christians when they remember Jesus going into the wilderness after he got baptised, before his ministry began. Luke 4:1-13
For forty days and nights, He fasted, faced temptation, and displayed great resilience against worldly allure that a lot of us would have found hard to resist.
It’s a time when many choose to relinquish indulgences like chocolate, coffee, or meals, to observe lent. Others take more time in devotion, reading the Bible and journaling their thoughts.
In sharing “Hope of Glory,” I extend its resonance beyond my personal devotion, offering it as a companion for others during their Lenten reflections.
Your Curiosity
Regardless of whether you’re a person of faith, I hope these verses inspire a curiosity about Easter’s deeper significance and how this impacts you where you are in your journey of life and faith.
I hope it raises questions in you about who is this figure, Jesus, who so loved that He sacrificed everything for humanity? Perhaps you may want to do some research yourself.
“Hope of Glory” is an invitation to delve into the heart of Easter. Ponder its timeless truths, grasp the profound love that underpins it all.
May this poem serve as a beacon, guiding you through Lent’s reflection and stir your heart toward the essence of Easter and the Love of God towards you.
A message of triumph, hope, the promise of eternal life, and the boundless love of a Saviour.
